ok...This is very interesting! I have not heard anyone speak from the perspective of an African American woman. Frankly, more than half of the people here sound just plain ignorant! I am a black female and although some black ladies may take a more aggressive approach to black men dating white women, I would just like to know why is it so culturally engrained in us to see race as an indicator of personality? Because I am an outspoken black woman, why am I automatically placed in the "angry black woman" category?

I would like to know why is it that white women are seen as more "innocent and pure" than African American women especially since dennis is saying that white women are "extremely sexually inclined"? Be careful about aides, the disease for which there is no cure. Also Herpes. The rates for Aides and Herpes in the Black community is several times higher than for any other group. Some white girls go for blacks because from the time they are little girls, as the author inadvertently mentioned, they are brainwashed to by the liberal media. The characterization of blacks as having "sculpted" bodies is propaganda BS. I went to black schools, and know there are short and tall blacks, fat and skinny, dumb and smart, athletic and nerdy, every kind you can imagine, but white girls are brainwashed to believe they're all studs. i dont know the reason why other white girls like blacks, but i know that i (im white) like them because i just find them way sexier and more masculine and confident. I can look at a somewhat quiet and reserved white boy, and to me he seems shy and insecure, which is a turn-off. but all the black guys i see with a quiet and reserved personality dont seem shy, they just seem like the strong silent type, which is a turn on. I think that this whole race thing is just so stupid. Whatever race you prefer to be with, whatever makes them special, unique, or desirable to you is just going to be magnified ten times because that's just you're preferance.Yes, there are cultural differances and differances in the mentalities, and a difference in swagga with white guys in comparison to black guys but white guys are just different than black guys. Who you date when it comes to race merely comes down to preferance and THAT'S IT. You had bad experiences with your own race because the universe was trying to steer you to what you know you truly prefer..you won't find true happiness in trying to be something other than what you are.

I am a black, gay man and I prefer white guys over black guys and I always have but I am still proud to be a black person and the majority of my friends have been black. The only difference between black guys and white guys, outside of cultural differences/mentalities, is our skin is just thicker and we are built differently body wise. Black guys do tend to have that ghetto, pow dow booty (I am a butt man through and through) in comparison but I have seen plenty of white guys who've got a phatter ass than me and I am not kidding you..especially the ones with the footballers build (my weakness). I have seen a plenty of white guys with phat asses, trust me. I know that we are built differently because I wear a certain waist size and I have gone in to stores like GAP and Old Navy to try on a pair of pants in my size and you can just tell that some of the pants are just not made for a black guy's butt and thighs..although that is not all of the pants in those stores. The pants I try on will have more of a straight up and down feel to them were you have to stretch yourself out in to them because of my butt and thighs. That is how I know that we are built differently and those pants are not made for black guys but were made for white guys.

The whole "black guys have bigger cocks" theory is total bullshit. There is no truth to that bullshit whatsoever and I have seen white guys with big cocks who just don't brag about it. I think that whole theory was started by white slave masters to keep their daughters away from black me by telling them that they had abnormally large penises but there is not truth to it except the skin is probably a little bit thicker because we just have thicker skin. Every race has got a mixture of different types of people in it. Its just that some people PREFER or are more drawn to a person or persons of another race and it comes from a strong desire from within side yourself, and some people just happen to fall in love with a person of another race and see no color whatsoever. Yes, I prefer white boys but I know that there are intelligent, educated, working class, good looking brothas out there too because I am college educated and my degree happens to be in English. I'm personally attracted to men of all races. What really does it for me is a decent body, an intelligent mind, a sense of humor, and good debate/conversation skills.

However, I will admit that I tend to be more attracted to darker men when focusing only on physical appearances. As a teen, I think this makes sense. One of the most un-attractive physical attributes on a teenage boy is acne. On pale boys, like whites or even many Asians, acne is very noticeable. On darker teenage boys, it's not as noticeable. Skin quality, not skin color, is the issue. Black and other dark skin types look smoother, cleaner, and healthier.

Also, I'm a bit of a biology nut. I like the idea of finding a guy with a very different genetic code and immune system to have kid with. In genetic terms, different is often better. It is one scientufuc reason why blood relatives who reproduce tend to have a higher percentage of genetic defects in thier offspring.

In reality, there are many different reasons for my personal attraction. Some of these reasons may be the dame as the majority of white gals who are attracted to black men, and some may be different. In my personal opinion, black boys are just more attractive.

Wake Up People! Jesse Jackson threw a fit some years back in Hollywood so the people that brainwash you with TV and movies have gone WAY OUT of their way to always present black dudes as cool and put them together with a pretty white girl, and NEVER show them in a bad light. In most cases, the white girl that is with a black guy has low self-esteem. She is fat or ugly & has only been with loser white guys, so when a black guy gives her the slightest respect, she goes for it. I can see how this happens, but she should have more respect for herself & her parents than to do this. As for pretty white girls, I don't know - they just werrn't raised right or they are rebelling againt their parents. But they are being naive about black men. No matter how successful they may be, they are still prone to violence. But I think the biggest drawback will be that their kids will be black. Why would a white person want their kids to be black? I have been to europe, Germany to be exact and never new that there was a south or a northern europe I've only known it to be referred to as western or eastern europe. White men (especially in commercials) are portrayed as stupid, nerdy, weak, idiotic, incapable of making a decision and totally uncool, hence the emergence of the so called "wigger" phenomena. Biologically, blacks DO mature faster than whites. It begins at birth and continues through puberty. Unfortunately for blacks, the price to pay for faster maturation is a biologically shorter life span. So a 15 y/o black boy will be equivalent to a 17 y/o white boy. Blacks also have a somewhat higher testosterone level than the other races, which leads to greater aggressiveness, a greater urge to reproduce, less inhibition and a lower impulse control. That could explain why black males are less pensive about approaching women than their white or asian counterparts. Women are biologically "wired" to desire the strongest and most genetically "fit" male in order to reproduce offspring who will be strong enough to perpetuate the species. Blacks come across that way or at least the women "perceive" that is the case, so they gravitate towards them in certain cases (not all white women do obviously). I think there is a misconception of black men because popular media, and hip hop portray them as "gangsta" and ghetto. Because there are areas where this stereotype is a truth, many in those areas think that it is true of all black men as a race. While the educated and traveled have certainly seen this not to be the case of all black men, I have found that most peoples prejudice is against ghetto looks and mentalities. These have unfortunately become dominant among young black men in many urban areas of the USA. I always try to remind people that it isn't the race you hate, its the ghetto look and culture that's become popular in this particular region that you hate. I am a black man that's not what you would call the typical black man by todays standards. I like rock, heavy metal, old country, bluegrass and classical musics. In fact, the only music I listen to that some people remotely identify with black culture is blues. I absolutely love the blues and jazz. I also love ska, reggae and dub, not dancehall reggae.

I've also had more than my share of fake, "wannabee black," white chicks try their best to deblackenize me because I wasn't "down" with the latest hip hop record, the latest urban fashions or the fact that I refuse to mark up my body with tattoos. What I have observed in the two major cities is I have lived in is identical, that is, black men do not love white women, they are egotistical maniacs who only care about themselves and they have a huge chip on their shoulder because of the past; they need to get over it! However, this is in the U.S. Blacks from other countries don't act like niggers, in fact the are such fine people that you don't see their color. I guess we have all gone off topic and started talking about race. I was quite surprised when I first learned that whites are mainly racist because they think that blacks might one day take over and diminish their race. Quite unlikely since they outnumber us almost 4 to 1.

In fact other races are rather unambitious for global dominance but conservative whites seem to be obsessed with it. The interesting thing about blacks is how we make do with very little and use it then rise up to the top. But this is a human resilience that I'm sure would be seen in any oppressed race.

I used to sigh that I was born in dark forsaken Africa till I visited some first world countries I realised how much freer we live. We eat organic food, dont stay frigid all the time like in europe and definitely have more laughs. Unlike America, we have an informed world view and on average Africans speak 3 languages. That said, I would take up a job in those icy countries just for the money.

Someone said she has visited 4 african countries in which 3 of them were mainly arabic (Somalia and North Africa countries). She said how horrible they were but tactfully avoided the fourth country Kenya, which is a true black country. Let me just say when you visit a black country like Kenya, it will leave an impression for a lifetime.
